Joel Light and Dan Moore, two seasoned queer performers share stories from their journey while leading you through beloved LGBTQ+ anthems and show-stopping classics. Sing your heart out to treasures from The Wizard of Oz (“Over the Rainbow”), La Cage aux Folles (“I Am What I Am”), and Mamma Mia! (“Dancing Queen”), plus hits from gay icons like Judy Garland, Diana Ross, and Barbra Streisand.

Created by Family Diversity Projects, Authentic Selves Gallery is an award winning traveling photo-text exhibit developed in collaboration with PFLAG National and Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund. The exhibit explores gender identity while offering a compelling look at the challenges and the triumphs of remarkable trans and nonbinary people, and their loved ones.
‘Rediscovering The T’ Training
Rediscovering the T is a presentation by the MBTA Travel Training team geared towards older adults who would like an introduction or refresher on using MBTA services, including the subway, bus, commuter rail, ferry, and paratransit, as well as other transportation resources available. After the presentation, staff will stay to answer questions as well as to sign individuals up for any of our reduced fare options, including the Senior CharlieCard, available to adults age 65 and up.

Age Strong Office Hours
Meet one-on-one with a trained Age Strong Advocate to receive personalized support and information. Advocates can assist with applications for benefits such as SNAP (formerly food stamps), LIHEAP (fuel assistance), housing, and more. You can also learn about citywide events, programs, and activities for older adults. If needed, Age Strong offers referrals to legal, financial, and medical professionals, as well as protective services in cases of elder abuse, self-neglect, or financial exploitation. Additionally, your can be connected with meaningful volunteer opportunities to stay active and involved in the community.
District E-18 Community COMPSTAT Meeting
Please join the Boston Police Department & The Boston Regional Intelligence Center for this community meeting. COMPSTAT has traditionally been an internal meeting where Boston Police Department leaders discuss current crime trends and patterns in all of the City’s districts and coordinate our planning to strategically address them. In 2023 BPD began incorporating the community as a key partner in these important efforts. This process ensures the BPD will continue to improve our work to address the continually changing needs of the communities we serve. Your participation will allow BPD the chance to review critical information and to explain what we do and why, and it is also a chance for you to help us better understand the issues and resources that are most important to you and the members of your community.
