This class will get you moving, build strength, and feel great in a welcoming, low impact class. This class combines energetic music with exercises to keep you active, independent, and energized.
Age Strong Office Hours
Meet one-on-one with a trained Age Strong Advocate to receive personalized support and information. As a certified SHINE counselor, help is available to explore the most cost-effective medical and prescription coverage options and determine eligibility for the Medicare Savings Program. Advocates can also assist with applications for benefits such as SNAP (formerly food stamps), LIHEAP (fuel assistance), housing, and more. Residents can also learn about citywide events, programs, and activities for older adults. If needed, referrals for legal, financial, and medical professionals, as well as protective services in cases of elder abuse, self-neglect, or financial exploitation can be made. Additionally, residents can be connected with meaningful volunteer opportunities to stay active and involved in the community.

Out2Brunch is a seasonal monthly brunch and social for older lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women. All are welcome, so bring friends, partners, and allies! RSVP required.

Music and Mobility is a program run by our friends at Friendship Works that utilizes a personal trainer and includes a mobility workout alongside of your choice of musical hits! A great opportunity to workout in a supportive group.

Join us for an engaging presentation by historian Marvin Kabakoff from Queer History Boston about Weimar Germany (1918 - 1933)! Learn more about the political situation and the context for the amazing cultural explosion of the time in art, architecture, theater, film, and sexuality. You’ll also get the chance to learn about Magnus Hirschfeld and the Institute for Sexual Science and all the work it did in promoting equal rights for all queer people in the early 1900’s.

Lower Neponset Superfund Community Visioning Workshop
The Lower Neponset River is entering an exciting new chapter. As cleanup planning moves forward, the community has an opportunity to help envision the future of the riverfront in Hyde Park, Mattapan, and Milton.
Your input will help guide future conversations about how the riverfront can better serve the communities that surround it.
Nature Gel Printing with Boston Nature Center
This printmaking workshop invites you to tap into your inner artist, combining natural treasure hunts with artistic composition. You'll observe and collect natural materials in the courtyard of the Pryde —including leaves, seed pods, feathers, or whatever else catches your eye—before returning indoors to press and print them onto paper. In the end, you'll have a collection of one-of-a-kind keepsakes to always remember this moment in time. No art background is needed, and all materials are provided.
